Good news! You can now schedule your return right from your customer dashboard. After selecting a date and time plus a few extra details, you can schedule for the pickup of your car. One of our agents will meet you at the address that you specify in our range on the date you choose. You’ll have until 72 hours before the last day of your term to schedule or make any changes to your appointment. Should you need to make a change within 48 hours of your appointment, send us an email at email@example.com and we’ll be happy to help.
Remember that your car must be returned with at least half a tank of gas and all keys that were given at the time of delivery or an additional charge will be incurred.
Generally speaking, the return process works as follows:
- A Canvas agent will meet you at a designated pickup address Your ID will be checked. (Note: your friends or family can’t complete the return for you.)
- Our agent then conducts a basic cosmetic inspection to ensure that the car is in the same condition as it was when it was delivered, plus normal wear and tear. (Our standards for wear and tear appear in your agreement with us.) If the wear and tear exceeds our standards, you will be billed for the damage.
- You then sign the termination documents, and the agent drives away with the car.
Then you’re all set!
All in all, the process should take even less time than the initial delivery process
